She looked for her cat
Couldn’t find him
Was he chasing rat
Where has he been
Then came a sight
That made her smile
He was sitting in the night
She watched for quite awhile
The moon so round
He just sat there
Without a sound
As if in an easy chair
He was watching the moon
So intense
As if he would swoon
The moon immense
She whistled a tune
And he turned around
Looked back at the moon
Happiness found
