The 60's from a 90's perspective

They burned their bras,
and smoked some grass.

They played some music,
and took no baths.

They dyed their clothes,
and streaked their hair.

Did I mention they burned their underwear?

In the prime of their life they fought for no war.
Now in their 50’s,what’s the fight for?

Protests and peace marches, they had back then.
and we’re still fighting for the rights of women.

Isn’t it great to be so independent?

  • this was a cooperative write between me and my sister-in-law
Franki, this was a great experience for the both of us.
