Virginia Creeper - Parthenocissus quinquefolia

Native to North America (including southeastern Canada where it is called “Engelman Ivy” ) and also occurs in Mexico and Guatemala.

This robust creeper is widely cultivated for its colorful fall foliage. Native Americans used the plant as an herbal remedy for diarrhea, difficult urination, swelling, and lockjaw.
