Golden-bow Dendrobium - Dendrobium chrysotoxum
Dendrobium chrysotoxum is a tough orchid endemic to Burma, Laos, Thailand, Vietnam, China, eastern Himalayas, Bangladesh and Assam. Due to the orange color (the preferred color of Buddhism) it is a favorite among Buddhists.
In Thailand people often plant it atop the roofs of their houses.
