The Noble Orchid - Dendrobium nobile
Dendrobium nobile is indigenous in the Himalayas living under a climate regime, which is closely matching the for seasons of the Northern Temperate zone.
In contrast with the majority of orchid species D. nobile is rich in alkaloids and is used in traditional Chinese medicine as a tonic and antipyretic.
