I’m a travel photographer and sometimes painter, American but currently teaching English in Moscow.
In my work, I think the most important thing is to bring out the quality of the space and spirit of a place or time. There should be an element of stillness, of flow. The process, of shooting and then post production, is like a conversation. The world should be viewed as a window into the sacred, and I try to bring that pagan sensibility into my artwork.
