Arcadia Valley, Missouri, looking north on Main Street towards Pilot Knob Mountain, 1985. Only the brick base of the IGA sign remains now, the “food liner” now a renovated church; the Conoco sign with the conical above-ground storage tanks are gone; the white station at right razed after gutted by fire in ‘09; the Grant’s Inn sign still stands but the inn has been empty and For Sale for a year now; the distant Shell sign is gone, and the distant little red phone booth long-since taken out. Original for sale unframed, image 8.5″ × 12″ with a one-inch white border all-around, total size, 9.5″ × 13″, on Arches 140 lb. watercolor paper, $600, unframed.
