I have a passion for capturing the true reality of the moment. Shooting with 35mm film and digital capture in an analog style to bring home that pure beauty.
super perspective, great symetry
Thanks Matt, I just finished my photo day so, I figured this would be a great test for the camera’s sensor and lens. I always wanted a capture of the Metro and I’m happy that this came out so well. I used the railing for support and composed with the flip up LCD screen.

very good shot of an interesting roof structure. Great range of brightness values make this so effective.
Every time I use the Metro, I think about this view in a photo. On this day, I made it happen. I used ISO 200 because the camera will increase it’s dynamic range by 200% and still keep a noise free image.
Hi Ken!I love the formal severity of the Metro Rail Station-serie.This capture is an excellent examble for this.Do you use a tripod for this serie?
Thanks Uwe, I had to improvise for this series because I left my monopod at home. For this view, I used the railing and the flip up LCD on the camera to frame. In other capture’s, I used a nearby bench and litter can.
Hey nice capture Ken, I use to visit this station when living in D.C. in early 1998, so great for me to see it again, nice capture mate, clean and vibrant.
Thanks for the complement!!! I was worried about vibration on the railing but, I got a clean capture.
interesting symmetry, good photograph.
Thanks Andrew!!! I got an Ace result with the S100fs.
Awesome Ken. WOW!
The Fuji suprised me on this series!!
Excellent shot, Ken, makes me wonder why I’ve never bothered to go down in the subway for some shots. Excellent detail and symmetry.
Congratulations!! You have been featured in the Which Way
