I have a passion for capturing the true reality of the moment. Shooting with 35mm film and digital capture in an analog style to bring home that pure beauty.
Looks like Olympus has another Champion in its corner ! More than a cursury view, Appreciated ! paul
As an observation, if I didn’t tell you this capture came from a compact 2/3rds sensor with a pro quality lens attached to it. Would you think this was shot with a DSLR?? This was my first time using the little Oly in a night environment. It’s output is superb for a Digi cam!!!!

Actually I didn’t think that hard, it was the sensual impression, of the quality moment observed ! of a technical nature, once the basics are established , I’m moving to the proline, and get serious ! that’s still possible this century ! :-))
Right On!! thanks again Paul!!
Excellent no matter which camera or how you used it.
Thanks, I didn’t know how this camera would perform in this environment. It’s results suprised me!!
Spectacular to say the very least! Well done Ken!
Thanks so much Luca!!
I like the effect that this shutter speed has on the water. :)
Thanks so much John!!
Thanks very much BigD!!!
What a wonderful capture! I only saw the monument by day when it’s also a feast of photographic opportunities, but night time jusut adds a whole other dimension.
Thanks Jeanne, I got such great results form this compact digi!!!
I’m a big fan of night photography, so i can appreciate what you got here.
I didn’t know if the little Oly was going to give me the goods. I’ll never doubt this compact again. lol
Wow – I didn’t even check the camera type – this was on a compact?!? Just goes to show what they are capable of and that you don’t need hugely expensive kit for fantastic results :)
Yes, I’ll never question my compact again. I did do alot of research on this Olympus C-8080WZ before purchase. I captured this image at ISO 50 with wide open aperture!!!
