This was the first of my Marie Antoinette as a faerie series… also 8 × 10 acrylic painting, let them eat cake!!
I liked the idea of a wide eyed innocence, and as a faerie godmother, she doesn’t need BIG wings, she’s magic. A hint of white powdered face, fresh roses and pearls as adornments and she’s ready.
Australian painter of winged whimsies; I love faeries, angels, mermaids, princesses, myth, gods & goddesses, cupcakes, colour…
I paint on canvas in acrylic mostly, but sometimes the watercolours come out for a less controlled splash.
