This is the cloud that produced a large amount of hail that damaged a lot of Sydney properties on the 9-12-07. We were fortunate only to catch the edge of it at home.
Taken with the wide angle lens at 17mm, I still couldn’t fit the whole cloud in the frame!!

Hi Robert, yes I did take cover, it was a fast moving storm, and I took this photo from the backyard, within minutes it was raining heavily and then we got some of the hail, fortunately only the size of a 5 cent piece, but it was the size of golfballs and even some as large as tennis balls elsewhere! We were very lucky!
