Mirror Mirror on the Wall
Brown-striped Frog
(Limnodynastes peronii)
This bull frog decided to sit on the cleaning hose in the middle of the swimming pool. It was a very calm evening just after it had rained. There was absolutely no movement in the pool water at all, so it looked like a mirror and the frog’s reflection worked a treat.

Carumba KIM!
This image is froggy perfection! What a great find!
When I first saw this I thought the frog was sitting on the spiral binding of a book but the reflection threw me. Your explanation will allow me to sleep easy tonight.
Beautifully photographed and presented Monsieur Frog, his lovely reflection and the unique contrast of the blue hose raises the standard of the fine art of Frog Photography to a new level.
If you are like me and are always on the lookout for that something ‘different’, you could not go past this to meet the criteria.

First of all, being there gets kudos alone, but moreover, once there, the capture of this little amphibian at his best moment is so enhanced by the long blue line (normals meant to be cops) as to take the breath away.

Thanks for your great comment Phil. However I am a little lost as to your meaning in this sentence “normals meant to be cops)”
