Bushfire Sunset
Smoke blowing down from a fire burning on the Central Coast on Friday night 7th Feb 2009 (about 35km north) gave some lovely colour to the setting sun.

LARGER VIEW FOLKS!
G’day Kim,
This very fine photograph has a great feel to it.
You have achieved an exceptionally good balance in the composition as well as the black/colour mix, a wonderful effect with your exposure of this fiery scene and great deep, smouldering tones.
The horizontally central composition works very well with this image especially with those radiating branches.
The exposure is so good that we can even see foliage detail against the sun itself.
This is an image that would look extremely good printed large, mounted, matted with a white cored black matt, placed in a thin black frame and hung in a predominate place to be viewed at leisure and contemplated upon.
I love it!
