Soft Touch
Although my plan was to take some sunset shots…when I got to my favourite “sunset” spot there were too many distractions and decided to get down on hands and knees and get some shots from different angles. The sky was a gorgeous colour and with the sun behind me it really captured the beauty of these little cotton plants (not even sure what they are called).

Beautfiul image, fantastic blue sky, these are an ornamental grass called Hare’s Tail Grass, Bunny Tails Lagurus ovatus …. I had the same idea a while back and will be uploading my version later.
Excellent clarity :-)

A lovely clear image. The sky is almost too blue to be real.

A really stunning piece, kimmyjade. Great contrast between solid and soft feel, and I love your choice of focus on the front stalk and “tuft”, and the slight glistening you’ve captured on the hairs of the “tuft”. A strikingly simple composition against the blue sky shows off the beauty of your subject to maximum effect.
