hi ellen I use a dacron fill like the stuff you find in cushions that fluffy stuff. I studied needlecraft at high school and I got a pre-loved sewing machine for my birthday a joint pressie from mum and dad and lilly and I love it been making heaps of things I love it you should get sewing lessons I could teach yu but its a bit too far hey cheers kim x
