HOME

He left her laying on the floor on a dirty mattress, the place he left her every night, the place he told her to
now call “Home” as he walked away from her, the hatred streaming through her veins made her snap, she wouldn’t go down like this, she called out to him, “Don’t Leave”, turning eyeing her suspiciously, he walked back to her, not knowing she had found her weapon earlier that day, a brick in the corner under some cardboard, behind her back she gripped it with one hand, the other hand reaching out to him, as he drew close she brought the brick down hard on the side of his head..down he went….she ran towards the door slamming it shut..,,finally she was free!!! She didn’t know which way to run, she just ran..as she rounded the corner.. to her utter relief parked not 20 ft from her was a police car..screaming..running she now knew she was safe..in no time she would be back home..”Her Home” she drew closer seeing him getting out of his car approaching her, she ran..throwing herself in the safety of his open arms..crying..”there..there now..your safe” he said ..she stiffened..knowing that voice..No it can’t be!!! She looked up right into the eyes of her worst nightmare..Him..he looked down, kissed her forhead “ wrapped his arms tightly around her waist..Now sweetie lets go back HOME..
