The Elkton

This is only part of a HUGE beautiful (empty) house in the town of Elkton Michigan, no story to go along with this one YET..waiting for all the leaves to fall to give it the spooky look then I will go back and get another shot..Wasn’t sure what to title this, its such a beautiful huge old house that deserves a proper name so I just thought I would name it after the town.

Quick question, are they red bricks, or has the house been painted red? ‘cause that’s a lovely colour you’ve captured there!

Great color and textures and shot an excellent angle! I really like the variety of colors in the brickwork, some of it looks like light and shadow, but some of it appears to be repairs over time…

  • Kim Calvert replied

Hi Joanne, this place just draws my eye every time I pass by it..gorgeous, I would love to see the inside! Thanks so much!
