Truth OR Dare
New to the neighborhood Jimmy knew he had to do the dare, or life would be hell, he never should have played the stupid Truth or Dare game, but he went along any way, wanting to just fit in. Being new he didn’t know the stories that were told about this place.. He told himself “Man Up, its only 15 minutes in a old abandoned house“..as he climbed the stairs he could feel the goosebumps on his arms raise..he opened the door and walked in..the door slammed shut behind him…screaming he ran to the door..pulling..yanking ..the door wouldn’t budge, he could hear the kids outside laughing and mocking him..all he could think about is getting the hell out of there, he didn’t care anymore about fitting in…the silence in the house was deafening, it hurt his head and ears..then he saw it ..pure hell floating towards him..at first he couldn’t move his legs for what seemed like forever, he finally got his footing and headed straight for the window, no thoughts of the glass that would shatter around him and cut him to shreds ..just the need to be out of here..jumping through the window he landed hard knocking the wind from his lungs….his eyes fluttered open, the fog of his brain clearing, relief spreading through him as he realized he was on his bedroom floor..a dream..thank god just a dream..still shaken he picked himself off the floor, then he heard the laughter, as he turned he seen the faces of those neighborhood kids..dead eyes..melting faces….TRUTH OR DARE Jimmy??

OMG KIM! Ok….first of all I just watched A Haunting In Connecticut last night and I had to sleep with my flipping lights on! This house reminds me of the one on that movie. Your processing is awesome and really brings out a haunting feeling. And I LOVE your story that goes along with this too! Brilliant work all around :)

Absolutely incredible, haunting and eerie. I also watched Haunting in Connecticut and it does indeed look like that house. My sisters and I were scared wide awake and screaming, it is a wonder the neighbors didn’t call the cops. Any way fabulous shot, love the story attached with it. Spooky and fabulous, brings back memories when we were kids and always doing the Truth of Dare stunts, in graveyards, old houses, the woods, silly scary things that kids do. Just love it.
Kim Calvert replied
Thanks so much, I know as kids there was always a empty house in the neighborhood that we would swear was haunted..and we were always dared by someone to just go near it..lol..
