Anywhere BUT Here
Alone, she prays for her chance to escape, he’s had her held here for what seems like months..she keeps going back to that day she was snatched from her world, it was a beautiful day, she took that short walk through the woods to the little lake that she has come to since she was a little girl, not knowing the evil that was lurking and watching, and now she’s here, held against her will..his prisoner.. she lays down on the dirt floor, closes her eyes and escapes to her dreams..the dreams of being Anywhere BUT here.

The writing is King ala Herbert wicked stuff…I actually read the writing first…before allowing myself a look at the image! It merges together flawlessly. Great work. I’d love to see more writing by you!
Kim Calvert replied
I find myself really getting into the writing part, sometimes I feel the writing doesn’t fit the image, but the story comes and I have to write it down before its gone, I suppose I should buy a journal to write them down on..lol..Thanks Alix your support is very encouraging and inspiring for me :)

Looks to me as if the house is made out of ‘LEGO’. It’s like the first house you build when you get used to how it goes together! ;) Great image and story!
Kim Calvert replied
I thought it had that LEGO look too..thanks Grim!
Cindirelli
Wow ~ great capture here but the words tell the story so powerfully! Makes me think of that poor girl they just found who has been missing for too many years. The captors (a man and his wife) had made her live in a maze of a back yard, in a shed I believe. Thank the Lord she was found alive! ~:)
Kim Calvert replied
Wow Cindi, I didn’t hear about that, poor girl, glad she was found!! Thanks for the visit and comment :)
