I have sat on this shot for awhile, hoping I am not boring people to death with these rust shots..but the colors and the textures on this were just too cool not to add to my page.

    I hope it’s not catching! When you squint you eyes and look at this it appears as a South Pacific sunset with little islands in the sea and a war canoe approaching from the right. You sure no how to stir up my imagination. Great shot. Bill

    Thanks Grim, I went yesterday and there were new cars at the track and the lighting was perfect..so I will be working on getting some of those uploaded.

    So well observed, Kim. I love the colours, textures and compositions you’ve captured in your entire rust series but this one is my fave. There’s always a real challenge in titling these types of images since each time you view them, you see something different. I agree with many of the previous comments; this two-dimensional world you’ve captured invokes a real sense of depth.. and this gives the image a landscape quality. Beautiful work!
