Asset Protection

Oil Painting inspired by my days as a volunteer firefighter. Something we face every Summer in Australia. In some areas you can live in constant fear of the threat of fire. Not sure if I’ve finished this one yet, but hey, I’ll give it a run. Two of the prime objectives of a fire fighting organisation is to protect life and protect property. Here the characters are endeavouring to do both without a thought that they are putting their own lives at risk.

Great pic and good composition. The story is told so well- the smoke, the fire trucks, the firefighters, the burning house, the hoses and the ….......horror. What would this country do without volunteer guys like you helping others in a time of crisis? I just dont know.

We live in a society that worships the cult of celebrity. How easily we forget who the true heroe’s are

It depicts , the fear, uncertaintity, and the sheer relief , of having the firemen taking control.
