CS3 help

hi all,
Lately I have been playing around with borders,frames and text on some of my images. I am curious to what methods (in CS3) others use to make their borders and frames ?

Also none of the fonts available in CS3 appeal to me….how can I find and add more to the list ?

any comments or help is greatly appreciated !

I have found the time (which in the scheme of life is very easy) to update an image of mine that I feel may represent how those battling or have loved ones battling cancer may feel at times as various treatments or diagnosis are offered.
