4 seconds over Flinders

Tony Middleton

4 seconds over Flinders

A 4 second exposure over Flinders on the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria…This thunderstorm really got going and had me licking my lips with enthusiastic anticipation as frequent pulsating ‘blue’ and ‘purple’ tinged bolts screamed down from the heavens…a bit of a pity it weakened after 10minutes and 10km’s short of my location. I still managed to capture this awesome staccato bolt though !

Amazing shot there Tony. Are you sure it wasn’t from the 17th of “November” 2007. We had the most intense lightning show i’ve seen in about 10 years on that night. A couple of photo’s from that night on my profile if you wanted a look…

  • Tony Middleton replied

thanks for the comment Rikki – but it was/is most definetly December and not November…
    cheers,
    Tony :)
