lone tree - Cape York.

Tony Middleton

lone tree - Cape York.

I saw this fantastic tree right near the tip of Cape York (the nothern most point of the Australian mainland). It had a unique character all of its own as it stood defiantly out on the tidal sandflat. Part of it’s personality was an amazing ‘hole’ through it’s trunk… I returned at dawn the following morning to attempt to capture it’s uniqueness to me forever.
