beam of light
I took this photograph whilst on a morning beach walk in central Qld in 2007. I feel this photo is symbolic to many who struggle with illness in life – The beam of light resembling a ray of hope. I’d think that it would be pretty rare for anyone viewing this to not have a family member or friend or perhaps even themselves battling or battled cancer…The Anti cancer council does an amazing job and it is this organisation that I would gladly donate any profits made from this photograph to.
I urge anyone effected to find some time to donate to the Anti cancer council

This is an amazing shot that certainly does represent the battle the cancer victims endure. The survivors also have their own little battle to deal with, like being on a merry-go-round that won’t stop and let you off.
Tony Middleton replied
very true eliseb ! and the seemingly endless chain of appointments and the ways of how the medical system ‘works’...
all the best,
t :)

thanks for the comment Bel – a great suggestion for the title…one a somewhat considered in fact with the recent ‘update’ I made on this piece. :)

thanks coffeebean :) It’s often the unexpected things in life that are the most rewarding…It’s also not hard to write ‘from the heart’.
