There are always two people in every picture: the photographer and the viewer. ~Ansel Adams
Photographer, since 1972.
Instructional Systems Design Specialist for the US Army.
Retired Army Signal Officer.
Owner of Plein Air Photography, LLC.
I started shooting photos at 15. My first camera was a Yashica Mat-124G TLR Medium Format Film Camera; I then progressed through various 35mm’s, MAMIYA 645, MAMIYA RB-67, then into digital photography as far back as 1997. I think my first digital camera was a 1.5 megapixel Kodak. I still shoot film every now and then – but mostly I am a digital person now. My personal favorite is my Canon T1i with the power grip – great photos and the grip gives it good weight and balance, especially shooting vertical shots.
My hobbies include photography (ya think), travel, hiking, flying, wine tasting, and sailing.
