Eye Spy...
A very friendly pink galah couldn’t get enough of the camera. It was even patient enough for me to change lenses to the macro lens and here is the result!

Did you used a normal camera?

Hey Trancer. It was a Nikon D200 SLR with a 60mm Nikon Macro Lens. I’m not actually convinced that this lens is best for Macro as it has a short depth of field which you can see by the fact in this shot that the left is a bit blurry. I have a normal Ricoh Caplio compact camera with a 1cm Macro and I find that this takes awesome clear macro shots. So I guess what I am trying to say is that you don’t need an expensive macro to get a nice shot. Half of it is just having a willing subject which this little bird was!
