WOW, BEAUTIFUL PHOTO. THE BLUES ARE SO VIBRANT, THE FOCUS IS SO SHARP AND THE COLOR CONTRAST BETWEEN THE BEAK AND FEATHERS IS GREAT. THIS ONE WENT STRAIGHT INTO MY FAVORITES. IT REMINDS ME OF THE HYACYNTH PAROT THAT WAS SITTING ON MY RIGHT SHOULDER, CLAMPED DOWN ON MY NOSE WITH HIS HUGE BEAK FOR ABOUT 15 SECONDS. I KNEW I BETTER NOT JERK MY HEAD BACK OR HE WOULD HAVE RIPPED MY NOSE OFF MY FACE. I DIDN’T BLAME THE BIRD OWNER, AFTER ALL IT WAS JUST A LOVE BITE, HE COULD HAVE DONE REAL DAMAGE. WHAT REALLY MADE ME MAD WAS THE FACT THE THE WOMAN THAT WAS WITH ME THAT DAY, HAD MY CAMCORDER IN HER HANDS AND DIDN’T EVEN TURN IT ON, LET ALONE TAKE A VIDEO OF THE BIRD ON MY SHOULDER. HECK, THAT COULD HAVE BEEN A $100,000.00 WINNER ON FUNNIEST VIDEOS. LOL BOB

Oh, that’s a relief…he is a pretty bird, though, and obviously wanted his picture taken. (I’ll assume it’s a he since the males of bird species tend to be the colorful ones.)

Haha, stop it or i will end up with an ego! I won an award once (though this isnt the point of me telling this story, haha, else it seems would sound like the ego has already arrived) and when i got home that day my partner, who was very proud of me, said “You’re never too much of a star to clean the cat toilet….it smells”. So i cleaned the cat toilet! The whole thing cracked me up, and is a quote to live by me thinks! :)
