Into the Light
The old path from the dunes to the disused Talacre Light on the Dee Estuary
A pseudo HDR originally created from one Jpg image, +/- 2 stops in ACR then processed through Photomatixs Pro, finally levels boosted in CS4
Not the best way of producing a HDR- and it doesn’t work for every image

These stones look like great big fat pillows. Does the HDR make that look ? Very surreal…. Mary Ann

The processing makes for an interesting image – I never been successful at psuedo HDRing a JPEG – but this works.

True Bob. I think the downside was an increase in grainy artefacts, but rather than trying to eliminate them, it worked better by accepting them ad even accentuating the grain

sorry kel but i feel youve spoilt an excellent image here with this hdr stuff-forget it ,,it all looks the same and after a while,,,well. this would look much more interesting done simply in photoshop. dont feel awful,,just my opinion.
