I’m a strictly amateur photographer and have been practising my ‘art’ for 30 odd years on and off.

I live in North Wales

I’m happy to be here!

I use a Nikon D200
Nikkor, 50mm f1.8
Nikkor 28-80 f 3.3-5.6
Sigma 10 -20 f3.5-6.3
Tamron 28 -300 f4-5.6
together with aCanon G9 and a Fuji Finepix

I’m also interested in ‘Strobist’ style studio work.

Post processing is done with Photoshop CS5, Photomatix Pro AutopanoPro and increasingly, Lightroom

I am very often criticised for leaving short comments on other artists work, ( and in life generally) you have my apology in advance, Its just the way I am. I just don’t Gush
It doesn’t mean that I don’t appreciate your work

I am popping in when I can, but may not be around as much as normal as I have a sick Mac…………..yes it is NOT just PC’s that get sick / I am trying some home fixes first but it may well have to go back to those ‘very nice people’ at the Apple store to be fixed (groan!) / See you soon (I hope)

Merry Christmas

I went away last year and enjoyed Christmas in the sun……..This year we are staying at home, we have had to set the table for one extra place as we have been fortunate to receive an early Christmas present, my new Grand Daughter Chloe Louise who was not due to make an appearance until 2011 but was born three weeks early….so ‘Babies First Christmas’ is a little earlier…
