Hey! I’m Khadia Massey, I’m 22, my name is pronounced ka-dee-ah. Emphasis on the “dee”. I was born and raised all over British Columbia, and also came to live in foreign lands such as Accra, Ghana, and Bordeaux, France, before I was 16.

I graduated High School in Courtenay, VI in 2005, and carried on to North Island College taking courses in the fine arts department for the following 2 years.

I have been drawing and painting for longer than I can remember, and i believe i now have quite a distinct style, if not many styles! The only thing that doesn’t change is the bright colors of my work. I like to play with my art trying new styles, textures and patterns all the time, and am very much inspired by Adinkra Symbolism from Ghana, Africa
