Visually stunning! Drew me right in. Looks like if you were to try working with mud, you’d make something very beautiful out of it! Obscuring much of the canvas just creates a greater interest sensation, forces you to dwell longer and get pulled in to your world. Your work is magical!

Thank you very much for your comments Mark. This type of painting is what I enjoy the most, so here’s hoping it develops into a style of its own. Seem to be addicted to atmosphere!

As a basically greedy person, it bothers me that you don’t post enough to feed my appetite for your work Kirsten. Please take this as a rebuke and begin turning out more feelings like this marvelous dance between palette and form. I particularly get off on the subtle paper texture which your chalk’s scratched out to add depth tho your wongs and swooshes of sky. And of course the suggestions of story arc are just enough to diddle my imagination into wondering. Art without imagination is just craft. Thanks for this trip and remember… As a basically greedy person, it bothers me that you don’t post enough to feed my appetite…. :-)
