This sea rescue helicopter was coming to the aid of a capsized fishing boat just off the coast of Gandia, Valencia, Spain. Sadly, the fisherman on board did not survive. I was walking on the beach at the time and the capsized boat was within sight of the beach.
I’m a Wexford woman currently living in Spain. I love photography and am still getting to grips with my Nikon D60, my first dSLR. I also use a Lumix point and shoot. I nearly always have a camera with me and like to document the everyday things around me. My other love is travel therefore much of my photography is travel related. As an amateur photographer I’m always trying to improve my work and learn how to take better shots. It is indeed a great hobby, one that brings me much pleasure.
