MEN AND WALL LA LINEA SPAIN

I WALKED AROUND A CORNER AND SAW THESE MEN WERE STANDING AROUND BESIDE THIS WALL. IT LOOKED ALMOST SURREAL, TOOK A VERY FAST PICTURE TO CAPTURE THE MOMENT. I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THEY WERE DOING !

Great capture of the moment! Love the composition and tones. The shadows give a wonderful sense of mystery.

Thank you so much maka, glad you like it. I finally realised after so many years what they are doing, spinning out a fishing line, they are fishermen

How fascinating. Well done, a photo-journalist’s reveal of a rare moment. I’m thinking they’re in a wall painting contest, waiting for the referee to shoot the start gun. They’re only allowed three and a half minutes, and only one stick of charcoal to work with. But then, I paint walls when I can find them. It is a curious sight.

Thanks Barbara, love your imagination. Strange after all these years and after a comment someone made I finally realised what they are doing, spinning out a fishing line !
Perhaps I should have left it without the explanation !

Great Shot…. whatever it is that they are doing…..

Thank you, It still fascinates me. After I took the picture, they simple moved their position slightly, but stayed there. I can only think they did not like each other, but were waiting for a bus !

This is a lovely shot, and as mentioned, very surreal. This scene conjures up images as varied as horror films to sprinters warming up before their race. This piece is really made by your fantastic shot and the mysticism surrounding the people themselves.

    Brilliant work!

They look very much like statues, the way you’ve caught them so still frozen in the moment…especially that center one who’s struck a very thoughtful pose. Very mysterious and intriguing, you do have a talent for capturing that. Wonderful work as always.

You are so kind, thank you Sande
