Old Friend by Norman Repacholi
My old friend, the Stanley No. 5 plane can still make a pile of shavings when called into service.
You could probably get the job done in a fraction of the time using a power jointer, but there’s something special about using hand tools and ‘feeling’ your way though a task.
Taken using a 50mm macro lens in late afternoon window light.
