4 Waiting To Cross... Plus 1 Just Waiting by

Featured 2011
April 5th – In the A love of CANON group
April 6th – In the Street Photography and Photojournalism group

Every morning on my way to work from station, I walk past this corner and this person is always there, this time I had stopped to hand over some of my spare change after I had taken this shot.

I didn’t realise how much of a contrast it really does become having four well dressed individuals waiting to cross the street on one side, yet on the other is just one chap who is waiting…

About Kevin Thai

So there I was sipping back a nice warm cup of coffee, a flat white with one sugar is generally my weapon of choice, actually did I have sugar in my coffee that day? …Anyway doesn’t matter, the point is all I was doing really was just enjoying my coffee so much so that I couldn’t figure out how to really construct my ‘About Me’ page.

Wonderful shot! It really does tell a story :) Instant favourite.

  • Thanks Sue. What I didn’t mention the description and I find very admirable is that the sign he has written reads “No lies, no stories, just doing it tough, thank you”

Very sad situation, but you captured the sadness very compassionately.

  • Thanks Patricia, that means a lot. I was hoping I was able to capture just exactly the contrast between the people I was thinking at the time.
