Good Morning Connamara
It was 4 in the morning when I took this pic. My wife and myself slept in the car so we could catch the sunrise through the mist in the Connamara mountains, Ireland. The photo doesn’t do it justice, there were no people, no cars, just peace and tranquility.

Brilliant shot Kevin. Well worth the sleep in the car methinks.

great shot, you have a great level of detail caught here with the mist and soft morning light.

OMG Kevin, well done to be so dedicated that you’d sleep in your car to catch a sunrise! Even here in the sub-tropics the sunrise is never earlier than around 4.20am! Love the mist!!

Kevin,
Fantastic shot! Do I see the moon on the right side also? Or is that a lens reflection. These kinds of mornings are priceless aren’t they?

Love it Kevin. Beautiful capture and well worth the effort expended to nab it.

Hi all, thanks for your wonderful comments. The shot was taken between 4 and 5 in the morning
and yes that is the moon you can see. After that we drove to to “Roundstone” where I was able to take a very gentle shot. After that we found a warm beach and promply fell asleep.
