Artist's Description

Mount Ida is part of The Traveller Range which runs along the south east boundary of the Cradle Mountain – Lake St. Claire National Park, Tasmania, Australia. It is not far from the north east shore of Lake St. Claire (within the national park) and it is possible to climb to the summit from the lake edge but you need to get a boat drop off, and there are no tracks.

200 views at July 29, 2013.

This was taken late on a November afternoon when a shaft of sunlight cast a faint glow on the upper rocky cliffs of the mountain.
