Kopra Ridge is in fact a ‘flatish’ (this term is used very loosely in Nepal!) section of a spur that leads directly to the summit of Annapurna South (7220 metres).
At 8167 metres, Dhaulagiri ( the high mountain in the background) is the seventh highest mountain in the world.
This campsite is about 3800 metres above sea level.
