on the ceiling was a mirror

a couple wrapped in ecstasy

sparks of desire burning

in red hot intimacy

making love as the moonlight

cast its luminous glow

words of hungry love

just began to flow

passionate kisses shared

by lovers so unique

she was ever so strong

he so quiet and meek

yet when they climbed in their bed

his lion aching rose

he desired every inch of her

from her head down to her toes

she was his lioness

a mountain woman so compelled

love to her was more than passion

it set her under a lioness spell

their love was so filled with longing

they would growl at each move

her nails dug into his back

they rocked to love’s groove

the lion and lioness

consumed each other’s desires

finally satisfied

quelling love’s burning fire
