A tired leopard that we encountered in Kenya not so long ago. She had just made a kill, and the evidence was there for all to see; what used to be an impala was drooped high over a branch of the tree she is seen lying on here. According to our guide, she was shielding it from scavenging lions and hyenas, but by the look of it she would’ve been pretty vulnerable to an ambush in her sleepy state!
