One of my first ventures painting from life with acrylics, this one in my offspring’s back garden in Willagee, between Perth and Freemantle in Western Australia. I have since learned that the little plant in the pot on the left is called Wilma.

Thanks, Naia – it is amazing how the same colours can look so different – ie subdued or buzzing – depending on how you use them. Off topic – I see you’re in Perth – love the kangaroo statues in the city, drinking at the stream. What a lovely concept!
