If love was a colour what would it be?
BLACK – the lover scorned by the one she believed to be her soulmate
WHITE – pure delight thinks the bride in white as she envisions the matching picket fence
PINK – bubbling over for teens first kiss
RED – hot and heavy breathes the mistress as she licks her married lover’s nape
BABY BLUE – sighs the tired new mum as she watches her precious babe suckle at her breast
YELLOW – the 22 year old who has grown to love herself; each day is fresh and fulfilling
KALEIDOSCOPE – the one who believed her day had been, but never quite gave up the dream;
– the one who risked it all and dared to open her heart once more;
– the one who too had once believed in the pink, the yellow, the white and
– she let love in, and for a moment was blinded by the shocking, spectacular
bolt of light which transgressed through every part of her body like no
sensation she had ever known; like nothing she would know again.
– she tried to capture the moment with the red, but that’s why it is called a
moment – it cannot be bottled, entrapped, sealed with a contract. It can
never last for more than a moment.
Once faced with the reality that she can’t get it back, her kaleidoscope soon turns to BLACK.
The aftermath of an affair.
