Yum
Thud was such a handsome fellow which I had the pleasure of meeting in Colorado in 2007. I had known of Thud prior our meeting as his owner would e-mail me about him.
While in Colorado, I managed to get a series of photos of him - including this one. He died shortly after and I am honored that I was blessed with our meeting - even if only for a short moment.
Although you can’t tell in these photos, Thud suffered from a condition called degenerative myelopathy (DM). He was slowly going paralyzed and although his mind was sharp, his body was not.
100% of sales of “Thud” cards will be donated to the American Chesapeake Club Trust Fund to help fund research for DM and other diseases which affect our canine friends.
Taken with a Canon 30D, Canon f/2.8L IS 70-200mm

Thud’s mom can’t thank you enough for capturing his spirit, and supporting the fight against DM.
