Over the past few weeks or so, I’ve been writing some articles on my blog. While they don’t go into heavy technical details, they may be of use to some.
The first article I wrote was an overview on macro photography. I looked at the sorts of subject matter for different focal lengths and outlined the difficulties with depth of field at such close distances.
Next I wrote about landscape photography. Part 1 was all about the artistry of composition, while in part 2 I wrote more about the techniques behind it and touched on micro landscapes.
Folllowing those articles, I wrote about what makes me tick as a photographer and like Kevin Skinner, I went through my though processes around photography for sale or for pleasure and how it is wildlife photography that is my real “photographic passion”http://avalonlightphotoart.blogspot.com/2009/09/photographic-passion.html, even though I enjoy landscape photography.
Finally, a couple of days ago, I talked about wildlife photography and how important fieldcraft is to really succeed.
