Tibouchina Urvilleana
This gorgeous purple flower is called ‘Princess Flower’ or ‘Glory Bush’ and may also be referred to as Lasiandra semidecandra. It originated in Brazil, but seems to grow quite well in my mum’s garden in Melbourne, Australia. Apparently this plant has been declared a weed in Hawaii! Photo was taken in June 2007.
