Jasper
Jasper is my cousin’s pet. He’s very much a people person, but doesn’t sit still for photos for very long :-) Jasper is a Bichon Frise. He’s playful and friendly, loves to eat and his fur is more like wool. The fur doesn’t shed either, so there’s less to clean up afterwards and no white strands to pick off your clothes.

ah bichon’s! The bestest dog in the whole world. I’ve already put up a few pics of coco for T-shirts and will have to put up some for wall art. Coco (not that I’m biased) is of course the cutest bichon to ever grace the earth…. Well she was a national champion before I got her, but was badly abused so is very jumpy. she’s nearly 9 but practically poses in photos so it’s easy to get god shots. For a dog that moves you did amazingly well – it’s a great shot!
After a year someone told me the brown tear stains is from feeding them dairy and I scoffed for ages but finally tryed it and they were right!!! Now if I give her even a small piece of cheese she will have brown tear stains for a week or two! Weird, but then bichons are. Jasper has great colouring – very black nose, eyes and lips. Almost as cute as coco!

Hi Neroli,
From the time Jasper sat down, to the time he ran off again, I had about 10 seconds to snap 3 or 4 quick shots and this was the best of the lot.
I’ll have to tell my cousin about the dairy…I always wondered about the tear stains.
