interesting choice of colors representing the man and that of the woman- also interesting that the man (or what I am assuming represents the man) lacks a mouth or rather the mouth is covered up- and the placement of the horse- I will leave interpretations to the individual viewers- needless to say it is ripe with symbolism-

You are right the man is more colorful than his mate, yet his lips are on her cheek. The placement of the horse, is Yoshi all in one big happy family under the giant umbrella.

I know that this is a completely different work, but it leaves me with a similar feeling to Egon Schiele’s (one of my favourite artists) painting also entitled ‘The Family’ ... so thank you for a beautiful work yet again Ming!
