Shot on a Nikon D700, 17-35mm Nikkor lens
Hi, Kia Ora from New Zealand, i have recently moved to Papamoa in the Bay of Plenty. I have spent the last thirty years taking photos, I love capturing images, especially ones that only I saw, only I was silly enough to get up at that time to catch the sunrise, photography is a wonderful thing, capture an image and you preserve the moment forever, miss it, and its lost forever.

ps – are you tempted by the D800?…
Yep tempted, but it’s not just the pixels, my 17-35 nikkor lens was worth every penny, it’s outstanding, I was onl 200mm from the bottom branch, on the other image I dug a hole so the center stem of the tripod could drop into the sand and get me lower and closer, on a full frame chip that lens is like a 10mm.
