Summer Cruising ~ Little Red Corvette by

Digital illustration with dry brush effect, little red corvette re positioned on the rocks at leisure Island, view towards Mount Maunganui, the background is a 13 image stitch taken in january 2011, the car was shot 5 years ago at an american car day.

I love those larger than life illustrations that you had on 50s and 60’s packaging.

Processed in CS3 and photomatix pro HDR assembled in CS3, background taken with Nikon D700 with 17-35mm nikkor lens at 35mm, car taken with a Nikon D70s with 24-85mm nikkor lens.

Hi, Kia Ora from New Zealand, i live in sunny Papamoa in the Bay of Plenty. I have spent the last thirty years taking photos, I love capturing images, especially ones that only I saw, only I was silly enough to get up at that time to catch the sunrise, photography is a wonderful thing, capture an image and you preserve the moment forever, miss it, and its lost forever.

Hope that you enjoy these images.

Great work! And I don’t use the “G” word much, I personally use it very sparingly and only when truly justified – and this certainly does. Sounds like a lot of work but worth every bit. Thanks for sharing this one.

now that is very very chic, so much to see, yet not cluttered with all the drama in the sky & those great textures
